Prior to joining our team Timur had worked for a research center which focused primarily on research of international trade and regional integration. Timur advised some of the biggest Russian companies on international trade issues. His professional scope included, in particular, preparation of analytical materials and opinions on trade regimes and conditions of access to foreign markets and integration associations, current legal regulation developments in international trade, preparation of documents in the context of elimination of trade barriers to Russian export, and interaction with government bodies.
While an MSU student, Timur was also a trainee at the Trade Negotiations Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Trade Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Timur is the winner of international contests “WTO model-2014” (teamwork award) and “WTO model-2016” (the best speaker). He was highlighted as one of the best speakers at the Blischenko congress (RUDN University, Moscow).
Timur’s versatile knowledge of international law coupled with his longtime experience of work in this area enables him to successfully cope with a wide range of issues related to international trade, WTO in particular. Timur is engaged in research of trade systems of the WTO members for their consistency with the multilateral agreements in the context of the WTO. His professional scope also involves drafting of legal opinions and recommendations on practical application of multilateral WTO agreements.
